Britney Spears released her record-breaking debut album
”…Baby One More Time”, including two songs written/co-written by Jörgen, on January 12, 1999.
On May 16, 2000, celebrating twenty years today, her sophomore album ”Oops!… I Did It Again” came out breaking new ground. With equally two songs by Jörgen, it set the record for the highest debut-week album sales ever by a female. It was not broken until 15 years later.

Facts on Britney’s first two albums
Released in 1999, her debut album ”…Baby One More Time” went straight to No 1 on Billboard 200 with 120,500 sold copies in its first week. It has to date sold more than 25 million copies.
Britney’s second album ”Oops!… I Did It Again” in 2000 also debuted at Billboard No 1. By now a worldwide superstar, her 1,3 million in first week sales exceeded her debut 10 times. It went on selling more than 20 million copies worldwide generating Jörgen and all other songwriters their second Diamond Award.
