“Stronger (What Doesn’t Kill You)”, with Kelly Clarkson, is the most-performed song in the Broadcast Music, Inc. (BMI) catalogue on U.S. radio and television over the past twelve months.
The 2013 BMI London Awards were held at the Dorchester Hotel last night. The most prestigious award, Song of the Year, was presented to Jörgen and his U.S. BMI writing partner Ali Tamposi, signed to Jörgen’s music publishing company Perfect Storm Music Group.
Besides spending three weeks at #1 on Billboard Hot 100, Clarkson set a new U.S. list record by also topping the Country Songs, Adult Contemporary, Adult Pop Songs and Dance/Club Play Songs charts.

On May 14, 2013, in Los Angeles, Jörgen got his first BMI Award for “Stronger” and this far he has received a total of seven with different songs.
“Stronger (What Doesn’t Kill You)” is written by Jörgen, Ali Tamposi, David Gamson and Greg Kurstin.

The 27th Annual ARIA Awards is held in Sydney on Sunday, December 1, 2013. Disclosed today, Jörgen is up for the Song of the Year Award with Samantha Jade’s “What You’ve Done to Me”.
On the night of November 20, 2012, Samantha Jade was crowned Australia’s X Factor winner, season four. Jade’s coronation song “What You’ve Done to Me”, co-written by Jörgen, went straight to #1 on both the domestic iTunes’ list as well as the ARIA Singles Chart.
Samantha Jade’s self-titled debut album was released on December 7, 2012. It also includes Jade’s cover version of Kelly Clarkson’s Billboard Hot 100 #1 “Stronger (What Doesn’t Kill You)”, co-written by Jörgen, for which he in 2012 received a GRAMMY Award ”Song of the Year” nomination.

The words are Jörgen’s, recently interviewed by the British best-selling author Paul Stenning for his forthcoming book “Success – By Those Who’ve Made It”.
The book contains 21 exclusive interviews, told as mini-biographies, with celebrities, all of which making successful careers in their respective profession. The second part of the book is about self-help, including a conclusion and analysis about what it really takes to be successful.
In the chapter dedicated to Jörgen, he tells how it all got started and the way he works. Jörgen also gives the reader a few tips and tricks in the trade of being a songwriter.

The 2013 World Music Awards is held at the Marlins Park in Miami, Florida, on Sunday, December 22. It will be broadcast in more than 160 countries worldwide, reaching an estimate audience of one billion viewers.
This far three singles, all written or co-written by Jörgen, have been released from Agnetha’s first album of original material in 26 years.

Second and third gold record for Agnetha’s new album.
On Tuesday Agnetha Fältskog’s ”A” went gold in yet two more countries, the UK and Australia. In June, three weeks after its release, the album reached this status in Sweden.

On Thursday, August 1, Agnetha makes a special appearance at the Stockholm Pride Festival where she will be presented with the Swedish gold record.
Agnetha’s second single, ”Dance Your Pain Away”, was released on July 15 and immediately went to #1 on BBC Radio 2’s airplay chart.

On Tuesday night BBC airs ”Agnetha: ABBA and After”, the new documentary about Agnetha Fältskog and the making of her comeback album ”A”.
This 60 minutes TV special features interviews with Björn Ulvaeus, Benny Andersson, Gary Barlow, Sir Tim Rice and of course Jörgen who wrote/co-wrote Agnetha’s songs. Aired in the UK on BBC One from 10.35 pm.

Australia on Friday. UK and Europe today. US on Tuesday. Agnetha Fältskog now releases her first album of new material in 26 years.
Presented with three songs written by Jörgen exclusively for the former ABBA singer, Agnetha Fältskog in 2012 decided to go back into the studio recording a complete album, subsequently given the title “A”.
Two of these songs, “The One Who Loves You Now” and “When You Really Loved Someone”, appear on the record, which is entirely written or co-written by Jörgen. Both were digitally released on March 11 as lead singles, though in different markets. Now the 10 track album “A” is released worldwide.
